Our Partnership Vision
Through the local church we want to reconnect the millions of dropout believers who are disconnected from the church.
In addition to partnering with individuals, churches, and parachurch organizations, our goal is to develop partnership alliances with outreach ministries that have a national and international scope who want to leverage their relationships with churches by introducing the Hunters of the Harvest ministry.
Hunters of the Harvest Ministry is a Texas Nonprofit corporation with 501(c)(3) certification effective 8/15/2016. We are an international, trans-denominational ministry specifically focused on dropout believers and directed to Christian churches in the Western world: Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, and non-denominational. It is biblically orthodox in its approach and based on a scriptural strategy for identifying, engaging, restoring, and reconnecting dropout believers in the latter days.
The Scope of the Problem
Restoration of the dropout believer would double the size of the local church in the US!
By current statistics and studies (cf. Barna) 50%+ of the US population are “unchurched”, and of those, over 75% used to be “churched”. That means there are over 85,000,000 adults, just in the US, that have disconnected themselves with any meaningful relationship with the church! We call them dropout believers. Most still profess a degree of belief in Jesus.
Mostly, their “love has grown cold.” Roughly 40% of US adults are “churched” (about 88 million). Similar low figures are true for Canada and sadly, Western Europe’s figures are even lower! If all the dropout believers who used to be in church were restored and reconnected, it would double the size of the local church in the US! Can you imagine a 100% increase in local churches happening over a period of time–say a few years? That kind of growth just doesn’t happen anymore. Even the fastest growing churches (those in the limelight) have growth much lower than that! There are indeed so many dropout believers that this is possible for every local church.
As a believer, church, denomination, or parachurch organization, you are a part of the solution of restoring the dropout believer back to the body of Christ.
