“Behold how wonderful it is for My people to live in unity- by this will all men know that I am in you- that you love one another.
But many who are Mine live as if their lives are their own. The darkness covering their life has hidden My light. I will reveal Myself to these in the coming trials of sword and famine. A sword is on the horizon and it will divide asunder soul and heart. It cuts away the earthly desires of soul and reveals the heart of men.
Every issue of man proceeds from the heart.
I will have a people of pure heart unified by the spirit of faith, hope, and love.
These alone will be the mark of all My people.”
2024 is the fifth year of the decade of 2020. This word I received from the Lord on January 1 2024. It is another insight into what the Lord is doing throughout this decade to prepare His church for the coming harvest prior to His return.
The second trial(woe) is now on the near horizon. The woes spoken of in this hour (see Jan 2021 below) are not the woes referred to in Revelation 9:12- judgments on the unbelieving prior to His return. They are trials- disciplines (chastisements) to bring his people back. (Hebrews 12).
A sword of war will test and purify the hearts of believers and cut away the worldly patterns of false beliefs, self-centeredness, and emotions to simplify the heart – to create a unified(undivided) heart. Worldly and selfish motivation will be exposed and revealed.
The number 5 is often associated with grace in the bible. His people will be granted special grace to repent beginning in the 5th year of this decade. The spirit of humility, repentance, and fear of the Lord will be renewed in many believers. Exposure of the heart motivations and intentions that are worldly and ungodly will be seen in the light of truth.
God’s special grace in this time to overcome pride and false beliefs and ungodly emotional lifestyles will enable many to enter into the abundant life and peace of Ps 131 and the joy of the Lord (Jn 17:13).
Without – the world growing darker and chaotic;
Within – the sure testimony of the Spirit:
You are Mine and no one takes you out of My loving hand.
This decade will be recognized by those that understand the signs of the times (1Ch 12:32) and prepare accordingly.
